An established investment bank is seeking a Vice President to join its M&A and Equity Capital Markets team in Dubai. The role will suit an investment banking professional with strong transaction execution experience across both M&A and ECM, with exposure to the Middle East and broader EMEA markets highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute M&A advisory and ECM transactions from origination through to completion.
  • Support senior bankers in developing and executing strategic and corporate finance mandates.
  • Prepare detailed financial models, valuation analyses, transaction materials and pitch books.
  • Lead day-to-day execution of transactions, coordinating with clients, advisors, legal counsel and other stakeholders.
  • Develop high-quality presentations, including M&A, ECM and strategic advisory materials.
  • Conduct detailed company, industry and market analysis to support transaction and origination activity.
  • Take ownership of workstreams and ensure transactions progress efficiently against key deadlines.
  • Manage and mentor Analysts and Associates, providing guidance on analysis, modelling and transaction execution.
  • Contribute to client relationship development and support senior bankers in identifying new business opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of capital markets, M&A activity and investor sentiment across the Middle East and EMEA.

Candidate Requirements

  • 5–8 years of investment banking experience, ideally gained within a leading international or regional investment bank.
  • Demonstrable transaction experience across both M&A and ECM.
  • Strong understanding of M&A processes, valuation, financial modelling and equity capital markets.
  • Proven ability to manage transaction workstreams independently and operate effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, financial modelling and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Middle East transaction experience strongly preferred, with broader EMEA experience considered highly advantageous.
  • Sector-agnostic experience is welcomed; the role will cover a broad range of industries.
  • Experience working directly with senior clients and managing junior team members.
  • Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills would be advantageous.
