OverviewWe are partnering with a growing investment banking platform in Oman that is looking to appoint a senior Coverage Banker to lead strategic client relationships across the Sultanate and wider GCC region.
This is a senior revenue-generating role focused on originating and executing advisory and financing opportunities across Sovereign Wealth Funds, Pension Funds, Family Offices, Government-Related Entities, Financial Institutions and large Corporates. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the firm's franchise, developing senior stakeholder relationships and driving new business across M&A, financing and capital markets solutions.The position offers a unique opportunity to help shape and grow the investment banking platform whilst acting as a trusted advisor to some of the region's most influential institutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage senior-level relationships across Sovereign Wealth Funds, Pension Funds, Family Offices, Government entities and Financial Institutions.Originate and execute investment banking mandates across M&A, strategic advisory, financing and capital markets transactions.Identify opportunities for cross-selling the firm's broader advisory and financing capabilities.Lead client coverage efforts, maintaining regular engagement with key decision-makers and stakeholders.Generate and convert a robust pipeline of advisory and financing opportunities.Work closely with product teams to structure and deliver tailored solutions to clients.Act as a market ambassador for the firm across Oman and the wider GCC region.Support the continued growth and development of the investment banking franchise.
Candidate Profile12+ years of experience within Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Advisory or Coverage roles.Demonstrable track record of originating and executing transactions across M&A, financing and strategic advisory mandates.Strong network across Sovereign Wealth Funds, Pension Funds, Family Offices, Government-Related Entities and Financial Institutions within Oman and the GCC.Proven ability to build and maintain C-suite and senior stakeholder relationships.Experience managing both origination and execution responsibilities.Commercially driven with a strong understanding of regional market dynamics.Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to contribute to the growth of a developing platform.
