Banking & Restructuring Associate / Senior Associate Solicitor to join the Dubai office of an international law firm.
About the role
This role offers the chance to work closely with a well-regarded partners on a broad mix of transactional banking, finance and restructuring matters across the UAE and wider region.
The practice advises financial institutions, corporates and government-related entities on a range of banking matters, including corporate lending, real estate finance and acquisition finance, on both a conventional and Sharia-compliant basis. It also has a strong restructuring and insolvency offering, acting across distressed debt situations, consensual restructurings and formal insolvency processes.
The team acts for a strong regional client base, including leading UAE banks, advising both lenders and borrowers, as well as on selected private credit matters.
Requirements
- Banking / finance lawyer English / Common Law qualified solicitor
- Solid Legal 500 law firm experience in the Middle East or UK etc
- Transactional experience and some exposure to restructuring or distressed situations
- Looking to take on a broader role within a growing Dubai practice
