Role Summary:
The Corporate Accountant will manage the accounting, reporting, and compliance requirements for companies corporate entities, ensuring accuracy, control, and integrity across multiple jurisdictions. This is a hands-on role ideal for a capable accountant ready to step into a junior Financial Controller position over time. The individual will handle everything from bookkeeping and reconciliations to consolidated reporting, payroll, and audit preparation, ensuring finance operations are efficient, compliant, and well-controlled.
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly management accounts for all corporate entities and support group consolidationMaintain general ledger accuracy, reconciliations, and journal entries across multiple jurisdictionsOversee payroll, payment runs, and intercompany accountingDesign and maintain strong financial controlsResponsible for Liquidity management and debt reportingManage statutory audits and liaise directly with external auditorsSupport corporate tax filings and ensure compliance with UAE and international requirementsAssist with the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and then ongoing owner of overall systemWork closely with the Head of FP&A to provide financial data and variance analysisIdentify automation opportunities and process improvementsSupport CFO with ad hoc analysis, cash flow reports, and project-related accounting tasks
Profile & Competencies:
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 4–6 years’ post-qualification experienceStrong technical accounting and consolidation knowledgeHands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business CentralDetail-oriented, process-driven, and reliableHigh integrity and eagerness to grow within a fast-scaling organisationStrong Excel skills and interest in finance automation.
