OverviewA leading international investment bank is seeking an experienced Equity Capital Markets (ECM) profile to lead and expand its ECM franchise in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This individual will be responsible for driving origination, structuring, and execution of equity and equity-linked transactions across the Saudi market, with a focus on IPOs, follow-on offerings, rights issues, and strategic capital raisings.
The successful candidate will bring strong relationships with corporates, government entities, family groups, regulators, and institutional investors, while leveraging the firm’s global platform to deliver best-in-class advisory and execution capabilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the origination and execution of ECM transactions in Saudi Arabia, including IPOs, secondary offerings, rights issues, and equity-linked products.Develop and maintain strong relationships with sovereign entities, regulators (CMA, Tadawul), family offices, corporates, and institutional investors.Drive the strategic positioning of the bank as a leading advisor for equity capital raisings in the Kingdom.Work closely with coverage bankers, M&A, DCM, and syndicate teams to deliver integrated capital markets solutions.Provide senior leadership, mentorship, and oversight to junior ECM bankers and analysts in the region.Represent the bank at high-level meetings, industry conferences, and client roadshows in Saudi Arabia and across the MENA region.
Qualifications & Experience10+ years of equity capital markets / investment banking experience, ideally with an international investment bank.Proven track record of originating and executing high-profile ECM transactions in Saudi Arabia.Strong client relationships across corporates, government entities, sovereign wealth funds, and institutional investors.Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and collaborate effectively across global offices.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in both English (required) and Arabic (preferred).
