Position Summary: We’re delighted to be supporting Rafeeq in hiring a Director of Marketing to lead Rafeeq’s marketing department across all verticals. This role is critical to Rafeeq’s mission of becoming the most loved lifestyle platform in Qatar and beyond. The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of strategic thinking, creativity, data-driven decision-making, and a track record of delivering high-performance marketing outcomes in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:Strategic LeadershipDefine and own the company’s marketing strategy, aligned with business growth objectives.Build and maintain a scalable marketing organization structure that supports aggressive multi-category growth.Work cross-functionally with leadership, product, commercial, and operations to translate business goals into cohesive marketing initiatives.Growth Marketing & Customer AcquisitionLead performance marketing efforts across digital channels (Meta, Google, TikTok, Programmatic, Affiliates, etc.).Drive CAC and LTV optimization through testing, automation, and segmentation.Own customer funnel conversion strategy from awareness to retention.Brand & CommunicationsChampion Rafeeq’s brand voice, identity, and positioning across all touchpoints.Lead 360° campaigns for key seasonal moments (e.g., Ramadan, 11/11, Black Friday).Oversee all offline, experiential, and out-of-home brand activations.Loyalty & CRMDrive frequency and lifetime value.Manage CRM lifecycle initiatives including email, push, and SMS marketing.Leverage Clevertap and marketing automation tools to enable smart segmentation and trigger-based communication.Creative and Content LeadershipLead in-house creative, production, and content strategy to deliver best-in-class assets.Set visual and messaging standards across the app, ads, landing pages, and partnerships.Partner with influencers and creators to develop performance-driven campaigns.Data, Insights & Budget ManagementOwn marketing performance reporting, KPI tracking, and insight generation.Build the RICE model (Reach, Impact, Confidence, Effort) into campaign planning for prioritization.Lead and manage the full marketing budget with a focus on ROI.Team Development & LeadershipRecruit, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing team across disciplines (Growth, Brand, Creative, CRM, Performance).Foster a culture of experimentation, speed, ownership, and cross-team collaboration.Build training programs and scalable processes to enable rapid growth.
Required Qualifications:8–12 years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.Proven experience leading marketing for a tech startup, super app, marketplace, or digital consumer brand.Deep knowledge of Qatar market and consumer behaviors.Mastery of full-funnel marketing including digital performance, CRM, and brand.Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to drive decisions through data.Proficient with marketing platforms: Meta, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, GA4, Clevertap, Segment, HubSpot (or similar).Fluent in English and ArabicAble to work from Doha
